After getting ssh-access I logged in with ssh.
I used http://code.google.com/p/debootstrap-ix2/ and installed ubuntu
wget http://debootstrap-ix2.googlecode.com/files/debootstrap-ix2.sh -P /tmp
I changed the version to VERSION="1.0.25" in line 4 in /tmp/debootstrap-ix2.sh
Then I did:
#export DEBOOTSTRAP_DIR=/opt/usr/share/debootstrap
#export PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/opt/usr/sbin
#mkdir /opt/jaunty
#debootstrap jaunty /opt/jaunty/
#mount -o bind /dev /opt/jaunty/dev
#mount -o bind /proc /opt/jaunty/proc
#mkdir /opt/jaunty/shares
#mount -o bind /mnt/soho_storage/samba/shares/ /opt/jaunty/shares
#chroot /opt/jaunty bash
Now I had a shell in jaunty. I then in the chroot installed ssh
#apt-get install ssh
in /etc/ssh/sshd_config
I changed default ssh port from 22 to 24
I changed root passwd with passwd command
and ran /etc/init.d/sshd restart
I changed sources.list
/etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports jaunty main multiverse universe
deb http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports jaunty-updates main multiverse universe
deb http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports jaunty-security main multiverse universe
deb http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports jaunty-backports main multiverse universe
Then I ran :
#apt-get update
#apt-get install synaptic
#apt-get install lxde
#apt-get install tightvncserver
#tightvncserver :1
I could now create a vncsession from my pc to my storage with lxde-enviroment.
and also access my jaunty-storage with ssh on port 24
